Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds. For riches are not forever: and does the crown endure to every generation?

Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? can the reeds grow without water? While it is yet green, and not cut down, it withers before any other plant. So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish: read more.

As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone; and the place there shall know it no more.
