37 Bible Verses about Overcoming Adversity

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

When your terror comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you.

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet your commandments are my delights.
