Neither shall you steal.
He that mistreats his father, and chases away his mother, is a son that causes shame, and brings reproach.
You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor your father and mother.
You shall not defraud your neighbor, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with you all night until the morning.
A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathers by labor shall increase.
Diverse weights, and diverse measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD.
You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
If you lend money to any of my people who is poor among you, you shall not be to him as a lender, neither shall you charge him interest.
He that puts not out his money at interest, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.
He that by usury and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
And you shall take no bribe: for the bribe blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.
He that is greedy of gain troubles his own house; but he that hates bribes shall live.
As the partridge sits on eggs, and hatches them not; so he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
In you have they taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained from your neighbors by extortion, and have forgotten me, says the Lord GOD.
Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, cries: and the cries of them who have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.
He that oppresses the poor to increase his riches, and he that gives to the rich, shall surely come to poverty.
And has not oppressed any, but has restored to the debtor his pledge, has robbed none by violence, has given his bread to the hungry, and has covered the naked with a garment; He that has not lent money for interest, neither has taken any increase, that has withdrawn his hand from iniquity, has executed true justice between man and man,
Since therefore you tread upon the poor, and you take from him burdens of wheat: you have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink wine of them.
And I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the sojourner from his right, and fear not me, says the LORD of hosts.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
And he spoke a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room to store my crops? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I store all my crops and my goods.read more.

But God said unto him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have prepared? So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which plunge men into destruction and perdition.
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

In all labor there is profit: but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty.
House and riches are the inheritance from fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.
You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received my own with interest.
Why then gave not you my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required my own with interest?
Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds. For riches are not forever: and does the crown endure to every generation?
Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may count the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered from the people: And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers of the work who are in the house of the LORD, to repair the damages of the house, Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.read more.
However there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. His lord answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not spread: You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received my own with interest.
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
If any man or woman that believes has widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
He that has pity upon the poor lends unto the LORD; and that which he has given will he pay him again.
He that gives unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.
But when you give alms, let not your left hand know what your right hand does: That your alms may be in secret: and your Father who sees in secret himself shall reward you openly.
Sell what you have, and give alms; provide yourselves purses which grow not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches, neither moth corrupts.
