Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
But this people have a revolting and a rebellious heart; they have revolted and gone. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in its season: he reserveth to us the appointed weeks of harvest. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good things from you.
