Filled with joy, they bowed down to him in adoration. Then they returned to Jerusalem. They continued blessing God in the Temple.

Midway through the feast Jesus went to the temple and taught.




You should seek Jehovah at the place Jehovah your God chooses out of all your tribes. This is where he will dwell and establish his name. This is where you should go.

Three times a year all your men must come into the presence of Jehovah your God at the place he will choose. At the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Booths. But no one may come into the presence of Jehovah without an offering.


King Hezekiah heard it and he tore his clothes. He covered himself with sackcloth and entered the house of Jehovah.

Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it. He went to the temple of Jehovah and spread it out before Jehovah.


How happy (blessed) are those who live in your temple always singing praise to you.

All of Jehovah's tribes go to that city because it is a law in Israel to give thanks to the name of Jehovah.


Then he returned to Nazareth the place where he was raised. He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day. This was his custom. There he stood up to read.

Two men went to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector.


Anna the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher was a very old prophetess. She had been a widow eighty-four years. She never left the temple. She worshipped and fasted with supplications day and night.


Many nations will come. They will say: Come you people, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths! For out of Zion will go forth the law, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.
