I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar. I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to minister as priests to me. I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God.
The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him. They may wear them when they are anointed and ordained. For seven days the one of his sons who is priest in his stead shall put them on when he enters the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.
You also as living stones are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Moses used to take a tent and set it up far outside the camp. He called it the tent of meeting. Anyone who was seeking Jehovah's will used to go outside the camp to the tent of meeting. Whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people would rise and stand at the entrances to their tents and watch Moses until he went in. The people would bow down as soon they saw the pillar of cloud at the door of the Tent. Jehovah would speak with Moses in person (intimately) (face to face) just as someone speaks with a friend. Moses would then return to the camp. But the young man who was his helper, Joshua son of Nun, stayed in the Tent.
Jehovah said to Moses: Set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting on the first day of the first month of the year.
When the tent is to be moved, the Levites will take it down. When we camp, they will set it up. Anyone else who comes near the tent will be put to death.
Appoint Aaron and his sons to serve as priests. Anyone else who tries to do the priests' duties must be put to death.
Only you and your sons may do the work of priests, everything done at the altar and under the canopy. This is my gift to you: You may serve me as priests. Anyone else who comes near the holy place to do this work must die.
Then Solomon and the entire assembly went to the place of worship in Gibeon because God's Tent of Meeting was there. Jehovah's servant Moses pitched the tent in the desert.
