Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they separate you from their company, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
They are darkened (blinded) (obscured) in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their heart.

The children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they did not obey the voice of Jehovah. Jehovah swore that he would not show them the land, which he swore to their fathers that he would give us, a land that flows with milk and honey.
I also swore an oath to them in the desert. I swore that I would not bring them into the land that I had promised to give them. This land is the most beautiful land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
We see that they could not enter in on account of a lack of faith (unbelief) (disobedience).
It remains for some to enter into it. Those who first received the good news did not enter in because they did not obey and lacked faith.
I also tell you, your righteousness must be greater than the scribes and Pharisees or you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
He said: Truly I tell you, if you do not have a change of heart and become like little children, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven.
While they were away, the bridegroom came. They that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast and the door was shut.
Truly I tell you, he who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child shall not enter it.

When the tent is to be moved, the Levites will take it down. When we camp, they will set it up. Anyone else who comes near the tent will be put to death.
Appoint Aaron and his sons to serve as priests. Anyone else who tries to do the priests' duties must be put to death.
Moses, Aaron, and his sons put up their tents on the east side in front of the tent of meeting. They were in charge of the holy place on behalf of the Israelites. Anyone else who tried to do the Levites' duties had to be put to death.
However the Kohathites must not go in to look at the holy things, even for a moment, or they will die.
He followed Jehovah's command given through Moses. The copper-covered altar will remind Israel that no one but a descendant of Aaron may come near to burn incense to Jehovah. Everyone else will die like Korah and his followers.
They are to fulfill their duties to you and their responsibilities for the tent. However they must not have any contact with sacred objects in the Holy Place or with the altar. If they do, both they and you will be put to death.
Only you and your sons may do the work of priests, everything done at the altar and under the canopy. This is my gift to you: You may serve me as priests. Anyone else who comes near the holy place to do this work must die.
The other Israelites must never again come near the tent of meeting. Otherwise, they will suffer the consequences of their sin and die.
