Justify the wicked or condemn the just. Both are abomination to Jehovah.

You let the guilty go free for a bribe and you keep the innocent from getting justice.

It is not good to accept the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

The people curse and the nations abhor the man who says to the wicked, You are righteous.

Can I be pure with wicked scales and with a bag of deceitful stone weights?

Truly I know it is so, but how can a man be righteous before God?

It demonstrated his righteousness. It was through the forbearance of God that he passed by the sins that had taken place before. It showed his righteousness at this present season that he might himself be righteous, and the justifier of he who has faith in Jesus.
