8 Bible Verses about Affection For God's People

in brotherly love being tenderly affectionate one to another; in honor, preferring one another;

For this cause, we have been consoled; but, in our consolation, we rejoice the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all. For, if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not made ashamed; but, as we spake all things to you in truth, so also our glorying before Titus was found to be truth. And his tender affections are more abundantly toward you, while he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.

so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not only the Gospel of God, but also our own souls, because ye became dear to us.

For God is my witness, how I long for you all in the tender affections of Christ Jesus.

my little children, for whom I am in travail again, until Christ be formed in you!

Apart from those things without, that which is a pressure upon me daily, anxiety for all the assemblies.

But we became gentle in the midst of you, as when a nurse cherishes her own children: so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not only the Gospel of God, but also our own souls, because ye became dear to us.
