And they asked Him, saying, "Teacher, we know that Thou sayest and teachest rightly, and regardest no person, but teachest the way of God in truth.
if anyone speaks, as uttering the oracles of God; if anyone ministers, ministering as of the strength which God supplieth; that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to Whom is the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
And they, going forth, preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word through the signs closely following.
Those, therefore, who were dispersed, went about, proclaiming the good tidings of the word.
For Christ sent me not to immerse, but to proclaim the Gospel; not in wisdom of speech, lest the cross of Christ should be made void.

but we renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, not handling the word of God deceitfully; but, by the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile;
"Go, and, standing, speak in the temple, to the people, all the words of this life."
how I shrank not from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and from teaching you publicly, and from house to house,
in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and around as far as Illyricum, I have fully dispensed the Gospel of Christ;
What I am saying to you in the darkness, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And be not afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him Who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.
so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not only the Gospel of God, but also our own souls, because ye became dear to us.
but we will devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and to the ministry of the word."
preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.
But, as God is faithful, our word to you is not "Yea" and "Nay." For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, Who was preached among you through us??hrough me and Sylvanus and Timothy??as not "Yea" and "Nay," "Nay," but in Him is "Yea."
Take heed to yourself, and to the teaching; continue in them; for, doing this, you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
Some, indeed, preach Christ even because of envy and strife; and some also of good-will; the one, from love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the Gospel; but the other proclaim Christ of contention, not sincerely, thinking to add tribulation to my bonds.
What, then, is my reward? That, when proclaiming the Gospel, I may make the Gospel without charge, to the end that I may not fully use my right in the Gospel.
For ye remember, brethren, our labor and toil; working night and day, that we might not be burdensome to any of you, we preached to you the Gospel of God.
