And the things which you heard from me, through many witnesses, these commit to faithful men, who will be competent to teach others also.

that aged women, in like manner, be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; that they may train the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children,

so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not only the Gospel of God, but also our own souls, because ye became dear to us.

Remember those who are your leaders, who spake to you the word of God; and, considering the issue of whose manner of life, imitate their faith.
