9 Bible Verses about Affection For God's People

As for the saints who are in the earth,
They are the majestic ones in whom is all my delight.

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;

For this reason we have been comforted.And besides our comfort, we rejoiced even much more for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all. For if in anything I have boasted to him about you, I was not put to shame; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, so also our boasting before Titus proved to be the truth. His affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.

Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.

For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.

My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you—

But we proved to be gentle among you, as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her own children. Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.
