Wherefore hath my pain become perpetual? And my wound, incurable? Refuseth to be healed? Wilt thou, indeed be, to me As a brook that disappointeth, Waters that cannot be trusted?

Now, therefore, over myself, my soul poureth itself out, There seize me days of affliction: Night, boreth, my bones, all over me, - and, my sinews, find no rest;

Show me favour, O Yahweh, for languishing am I: Heal me, O Yahweh, - for dismayed are my bones: Yea, my soul, is dismayed greatly, Thou, then, O Yahweh - how long?

For, my loins, are filled with inflammation, and there is no soundness in my flesh:

I, then, am humbled and in pain, Thy salvation, O God, may it set me on high.
