by which also he went and preached to those spirits imprisoned; who in time of old were disobedient, when the long suffering of God in the days of Noe waited, while the ark was preparing, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were preserved through the water.
And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the days of the coming of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the deluge came, and destroyed them all.
