Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours of the day? and if one walks in the day he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world; but if he walks in the night he stumbles, because the light is not in it. He said these things, and after this he said to them, Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I go that I may awake him. Then they said to him, Lord, if he has fallen asleep he will recover. But Jesus spoke of his death; but they thought that he spoke of the rest of sleep. Then Jesus, therefore, said to them plainly, Lazarus has died;

Let us not be weary of well doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
