let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body washed with pure water,
because the words which Thou gavest Me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew truly that I came forth from Thee, and believed that Thou didst send Me.
Now faith is an assurance of things hoped for, a sure persuasion of things not seen;
and ye have forgotten the exhortation which, indeed, reasons with you as with sons: "My son, do not lightly regard the chastening of the Lord; neither faint, when reproved by Him;
And we desire that each of you show forth the same diligence to the full assurance of the hope to the end;
which we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and firm, and entering into the place within the veil;
So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my Helper, I will not be afraid; what shall man do to me?"
For I am persuaded that, neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Wherefore, we faint not; but even if our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is being renewed day by day.
but, in view of the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but was made strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform.
For however many are the promises of God, in Him is the "Yea"; wherefore, also, through Him is the "Amen," to the glory of God through us.
