Happy is a man who endures temptation; because, when he becomes approved, he will receive the crown of life, which He promised to those who love Him.

knowing that the proving of your faith establishes patience.

When any one hears the word of the Kingdom, and understands it not, the evil one comes, and snatches away what has been sown in his heart: this is he that was sown by the wayside. And he that was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word, and straightway with joy receives it; yet he has not root in himself, but is only temporary; and, when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, straightway he stumbles. read more.
And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that hears the word; and the anxiety of the age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

By faith Abraham, when called, obeyed to go forth into the place which he was about to receive for an inheritance; and he went forth, not knowing whither he was going.

By faith Abraham, when tried, has offered up Isaac; yea, he who gladly received the promises was offering up his only begotten son,

Consequently, faith comes of hearing; and hearing, through the word of Christ.

And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way; as you believed, be it done to you." And the boy was healed in that hour.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith be it done to you." And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying, "See that no one know it."

And He saith to them, "Because of your little faith. For verily I say to you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say to this mountain, 'Remove hence yonder,' and it will be removed, and nothing shall be impossible to you."

And Jesus, answering, said to them, "Verily I say to you, if ye have faith, and do not doubt, not only the withering of the fig tree shall ye accomplish, but, even if ye say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up, and be cast into the sea,' it shall be done.

Having been justified, therefore, by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

and in Him every one who believes is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

But now, apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even a righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe; for there is no distinction;

For we reckon that a man is justified by faith, apart from works of law.

yet knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of law; because by works of law no flesh shall be justified.

Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast words of eternal life. And we have believed and know, that Thou art the Holy One of God."

And, passing along by the sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew, Simon's brother, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishers. And Jesus said to them, "Come after Me, and I will make you to become fishers of men." And straightway, leaving the nets, they followed Him. read more.
And going on a little further, He saw James, the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, and those in the ship mending the nets. And straightway He called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the boat, with the hired servants, they went away after Him.

And, when He ceased speaking, He said to Simon, "Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." And Simon, answering, said, "Master, having toiled through the whole night, we took nothing; but at Thy word I will let down the nets."

that to the gentiles the blessing of Abraham might come in Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

in Whom ye also??fter having heard the word of the truth, the Gospel of your salvation, in Whom having also believed??ere sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

And, as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as also on us at the beginning; and I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, 'John, indeed, immersed in water, but ye shall be immersed in the Holy Spirit.' For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and of faith unfeigned;

hearing of your love and the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints;

Verily, verily, I say to you, he that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to the Father.

if, at least, ye continue in the faith, founded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Gospel, which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under the heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

For the Scripture says, "Whosoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame."

But the multitude rebuked them, that they should be silent. But they cried the more, "Lord, have mercy on us, Thou Son of David!" And, being not weakened in faith, he attentively considered his own body already dead (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb; but, in view of the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but was made strong in faith, giving glory to God, read more.

And, when they came to the multitude, there approached Him a man, kneeling to Him, and saying, "Lord, have mercy on my son, because he is lunatic, and suffers grievously; for often he falls into the fire, and often into the water. And Jesus, seeing that a multitude was running together, rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter no more into him." And, having cried out, and convulsed him much, it came out; and he became as one dead; so that many said, "He died!" But Jesus, taking hold of his hand, raised him, and he stood up. And, when He came into a house, His disciples asked Him privately, "Why could not we cast it out?" And He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer."

And His disciples followed Him, as He entered into a boat. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but He was sleeping. And, coming to Him, they awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save; we are perishing!" read more.

Have ye not yet faith?" And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, "Who, then, is This, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"

Now it came to pass on one of the days, that both He and His disciples entered into a boat; and He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." And they set forth. But, as they were sailing, He fell asleep. And there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were being filled full of water, and were in peril. And, coming near, they awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we perish!" And, having arisen, He rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; and they ceased, and it became calm. read more.
And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And, struck with fear, they marvelled, saying one to another, "Who, then, is This, that He commandeth even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!" And they sailed down into the country of the Gerasenes, which is over against Galilee.

Even so faith, if it have not works, is dead in itself.

For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.

But are you willing to know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is worthless?

choosing rather to suffer evil with the people of God, than to have an enjoyment of sin for a season; regarding the reproach of the Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking away to the recompense. But, Timothy having just now come to us from you, and having brought us good tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us at all times, longing to see us, as we also to see you??7 for this reason, brethren, we were comforted over you, in all our tribulation and distress, through your faith; because now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.

We ought to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because your faith is growing exceedingly, and the love of each one of you abounds toward one another; so that we ourselves glory in you in the assemblies of God, for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations which ye endure;

for ye are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus;

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those believing in His name;

Because it is contained in Scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion a Chief Corner-Stone, Elect, Precious; and he who believes on Him shall in nowise be put to shame."

Then He saith to Thomas, "Reach hither your finger, and see My hands; and reach hither your hand, and press it into My side; and be not faithless, but believing."

They said, therefore, "What must we do, that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered, and said to them, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him Whom He sent."

nor to give heed to fables and endless genealogies; which, indeed, occasion disputes rather than God's dispensation, which is in faith, so do I now.

But do ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

And what more am I to say? for the time will fail me, if I speak at length concerning Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David also, and of Samuel, and the prophets;

By faith Abraham, when tried, has offered up Isaac; yea, he who gladly received the promises was offering up his only begotten son, to whom it was said, "In Isaac shall your seed be called;" accounting that God is able to raise even from the dead; whence he did also, as in a figure, receive him back.

And all things whatsoever ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

but let him ask in faith, nothing doubting; for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, wind-driven and tossed.

And, behold, a Canaanitish woman, having come forth out of those borders, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon!" But He answered her not a word. And His disciples, coming near, were beseeching Him, saying, "Send her away; for she is crying after us!" But straightway a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of Him, coming, fell down at His feet. And the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. And she kept asking Him to cast forth the demon out of her daughter. And He said to her, "Suffer the children first to be satisfied; for it is not good to take the children's bread, and cast it to the little dogs." read more.
But she answered, and says to Him, "Yes, Lord; even the little dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs." And He said to her, "Because of this word go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter." And, going away into her own house, she found the child laid upon the bed, and the demon gone out.

Wherefore, men, be of good cheer; for I believe God, that it will be even so as it has been told me.

but, in view of the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but was made strong in faith, giving glory to God,

Whom God set forth as a propitiation, through faith in His blood, for the manifestation of His righteousness, because of the passing over of the formerly-committed sins in the forbearance of God:

To Him all the prophets testify, that through His Name every one who believes on Him receives remission of sins."

I have come a light into the world, that every one who believes on Me may not abide in the darkness.

While ye have the Light, believe on the Light, that ye may become sons of Light" These things spake Jesus, and, going away, He was hidden from them.

He that believes and is immersed shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned.

And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved, and your house."

Jesus answered, and said to them, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him Whom He sent."

fully testifying, both to Jews and Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.

to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.'

and He made no distinction between us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.

and saying, "The time has been fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God, has come near. Repent ye, and believe in the Gospel."

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

By faith Rahab the harlot did not perish with those who disbelieved; having received the spies with peace.

By faith Noah, being divinely instructed concerning things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

remembering, without ceasing, your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father;

By faith Abraham, when called, obeyed to go forth into the place which he was about to receive for an inheritance; and he went forth, not knowing whither he was going.

And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house: and many of the Corinthians, having heard, were believing, and being immersed.

Whether, therefore, it be I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

to another, faith, in the same Spirit; and to another, gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;

Try yourselves, whether ye are in the faith; prove yourselves. Or know ye not as to yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless ye be rejected?

But, as ye abound in everything??n faith, and speech, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in your love to us??ee that ye abound in this grace also.
