18 Bible Verses about Avoid Immorality

We should write to them that they should abstain from things polluted by idols, from fornication, from things strangled and from blood.

You should abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication. If you keep yourselves from these you will do well. Farwell (best wishes).

Concerning those of the nations who have believed, we write: they should keep themselves from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication.

Let us walk honestly as in the daytime, not in rioting and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and loose conduct, not in strife and jealousy.

Flee from fornication! Every sin that a man does is outside his body. But he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

Do not commit fornication like some of them committed. Twenty three thousand of them died in one day.

This is the will of God, for your sanctification (holiness) (purification), that you should abstain from fornication.

Fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among holy ones.

For God has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness.

Let no one become immoral or unspiritual like Esau. He sold his birthright for a single meal!

Foods are for the belly, and the belly for foods, but God will destroy both of them. Now the body is not for fornication but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body.

Make your members that are upon the earth dead with regard to fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness (greed), which is idolatry.

I wrote in a letter to you not to keep company with fornicators. Yet you cannot completely avoid the fornicators of this world, nor the greedy persons, nor cheaters and robbers, nor those who worship idols. To do so you would have to leave this world. I wrote you not to keep company with any man who is called a brother who is a fornicator, or who is greedy, or who worships idols, or constantly gets drunk, or cheats people. Do not even eat with such a person.

I am afraid that the next time I come my God will humiliate me in your presence, and I shall weep over many who sinned in the past and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication and loose conduct that they have practiced.

Thus I will make lewdness cease from the land. All women will be admonished and not commit lewdness as you have done.

You do the works of your father. They said: We were not born of fornication. We have one Father, God!
