And, bearing his cross, he went forth into a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called, in Hebrew, Golgotha,

And as they were going out, they found a man of Gyrene, named Simon: this man they compelled to carry his cross.

And they compelled one Simon, a Cyrenian, (the father of Alexander and Eufus,) who was passing by, coming in from the country, to bear his cross.

And as they led him away, they laid hold of Simon, a certain Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might carry it after Jesus.

And the beast was taken, and the false prophet that was with him, who did signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brim stone. And the rest were slain with the sword of him that sat on the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

And a very great multitude spread their mantles in the road: and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the road. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed after, cried, saying: Hosanna to the son of David. Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

And they brought the colt to Jesus, and put their mantles upon him, and he sat on him. And many spread their mantles in the road, and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the road. Blessed is the coming kingdom of our Father David. Hosanna in the highest. And Jesus entered Jerusalem, and went into the temple; and when he had looked around on all things, the hour being now late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.

Come to me, all you that are weary, and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my bur den is light.
