Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger:
For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he brings them unto their desired haven.

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
If the spirit of the ruler rises up against you, leave not your post; for yielding pacifies great offences.
And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
