And command these things, that they be blameless.

that you may prove the excellent, that you may be without fault and without offense in the day of Christ,

Do all things without complainings and disputations, that you may be blameless and sincere, children of God without blame in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as luminaries in the world,

but as he that called you is holy be you also holy in all [your] conduct,

having your conduct honorable among the gentiles, that wherein they speak against you as evil-doers, from the good works which they see they may glorify God in the day of visitation,

Wherefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent that you may be found in him without a spot and blemish, in peace,

Pure religion and undefiled with the God and Father is this, to visit the orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep one's self unspotted from the world.
