I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.

He who presses the poor curses his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy upon the poor.

For I will give health back to you, and will heal you of your wounds, says Jehovah; because they called you an outcast, saying, This is Zion; no one is seeking for her.

Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will cure the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. But whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God dwell in him?
