Then I saw three foul spirits leap like frogs from the mouth of the dragon, from the mouth of the wild beast, and from the mouth of the false prophet.

Then there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder; then there was a great earthquake, an earthquake so great that none like it had ever been since man first existed on the earth.

Then the fifth angel emptied his bowl upon the throne of the wild beast, and his kingdom was shrouded in darkness, and men in agony gnawed their tongues,

So the first angel went and emptied his bowl upon the earth, and horrible, painful sores broke out on the men who bore the mark of the wild beast and worshiped his statue.

Then the fourth angel emptied his bowl upon the sun, and permission was given it to scorch mankind with its fiery heat, so that men were severely scorched, but they only cursed the name of God who had authority over these plagues, and would not repent and give Him glory.

When He broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. So the smoke of the incense went up from the angel's hand to the presence of God for the prayers of His people. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and flung it to the earth, and there followed peals of thunder with its rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow them. The first one blew his trumpet, and there was a shower of hail and fire mixed with blood as it hurled itself upon the earth, and one-third of the earth was burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. Then the second angel blew his trumpet, and what seemed to be a great mountain, all ablaze with fire, hurled itself into the sea, and one-third of the sea was turned into blood, and one-third of all the living creatures in the sea perished, and one-third of the ships were destroyed. Then the third angel blew his trumpet, and there fell from the sky a great star blazing like a torch, and it fell upon one-third of the rivers and the springs of water. The star is called Absinthus, that is, Wormwood. So one-third of the waters turned to wormwood, and great numbers of people died of the waters, because they had turned bitter. Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and one-third of the sun was cursed with a plague, and one-third of the moon, and one-third of the stars, so that one-third of them were darkened, and there was no light for one-third of the day and for one-third of the night. Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-air say in a loud voice, "Alas! Alas! Alas for the inhabitants of the earth because of the remaining blasts of the three angels who are going to blow their trumpets!"

But when you hear of wars and rumors of war, stop getting alarmed. They have to come, but the end is not yet. For one nation will go to war with another, and one kingdom with another. There will be earthquakes in many places; there will be famines. But this is only the beginning of the agonies. So you must be on the lookout for yourselves; they will turn you over to courts, and to synagogues where you will be beaten, and you must appear before governors and kings for my sake, to testify to them.

For nation will go to war with nation, and kingdom with kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in many places.

There will be great earthquakes and pestilences and famines in various places, and there will be dreadful portents and awful signs in the sky.
