And on the third day after, there was a marriage at Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there. And Jesus and his disciples were invited to the wedding.

So they both ran together, but the other disciple out-ran Peter, and came first to the sepulchre:

Now Peter and John were going up to the temple together at the hour of prayer, which is the ninth hour.

and as they were ministring to the Lord, and fasting, the holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have called them. Then having fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them they sent them away.

And the advice pleased the whole multitude, and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith, and of the holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolaus a proselyte of Antioch. These they set before the apostles; who, when they had prayed, laid their hands upon them.

And Ananias went away and came into the house; and putting his hands on him, said, "Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared to thee on the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the holy Spirit."

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Therefore the first covenant had also rites of worship and a worldly sanctuary. For there was a tabernacle prepared; the first part, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the loaves set on it, which is called the sanctuary.
