And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.

And for this cause he is the mediator of the new covenant, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near by the blood of Christ. And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to them that were near. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the descendant should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for you were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

But now has he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
