He will not quarrel or cry out; nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.
Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this: "He was led as a sheep to slaughter; and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he does not open his mouth.
But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and urged him, saying, "Send her away, for she is crying out after us."
But Jesus remained silent. And the high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God."
