Jeremiah 38:6-13

So Ebedmelech took the men with him, and went to the house of Amalek, and there under an almery he gat old rags and worn clothes, and let them down by a cord, into the dungeon to Jeremiah. And Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto the prophet Jeremiah, "O put these rags and clothes under thine arm holes, betwixt them and the cords." And Jeremiah did so. So they drew up Jeremiah with cords and took him out of the dungeon, and he remained in the fore entry of the prison.

Genesis 37:19-24

and said one to another, "Behold, this dreamer cometh; come now and let us slay him and cast him into some pit, and let us say that some wicked beast hath devoured him, and let us see what his dreams will come to." When Reuben heard that, he went about to rid him out of their hands, and said, "Let us not kill him."read more.
