8 Bible Verses about Condemned Hearts

They who are of a perverse heart are hateful to Jehovah, but the upright in the way are His delight.

A perverse heart will depart from me; I will not know the wicked. Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, I will cut him off; him who has a high look and a proud heart, I will not allow.

Everyone proud in heart is hateful to Jehovah; though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

He who has a perverse heart finds no good, and he who has a crooked tongue falls into mischief.

And it will be, when the Lord has broken off all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the proud heart of the king of Assyria and the glory of his high looks.

I Jehovah search the heart, I try the reins, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

For so says the Lord Jehovah: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped the foot, and rejoiced in heart with all your spite against the land of Israel; behold, therefore I will stretch out My hand on you, and will give you as a prize to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the lands. I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am Jehovah.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.
