Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Our God [is] a God of deliverances, and to [the] Yahweh the Lord belong escapes from death.

Just as no one can control the wind to restrain the wind, so also no one can control the day of his death. Just as no one is discharged in time of war, so wickedness will not deliver the wicked.
Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will understand after these [things]."

You anoint my head with oil; my cup [is] overflowing. Surely goodness and loyal love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will stay in the house of Yahweh {for a very long time}.
A good name [is] better than precious ointment, and the day of death [is better] than the day of one's birth.
And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist [any] longer, and mourning or wailing or pain will not exist [any] longer. The former [things] have passed away."
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
For it is necessary for him to reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be abolished [is] death.
If his days [are] determined, the number of his months [is] with you; you have appointed his boundaries, and he cannot cross [them].
And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish {forever}, and no one will seize them out of my hand. My Father, who has given [them] to me, is greater than all, and no one can seize [them] from the Father's hand.

For I consider that the sufferings of the present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the glory that is about to be revealed to us.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, so that where I am, you may be also.
For if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore whether we live [or] whether we die, we are the Lord's.
