14 Bible Verses about Love As A Fruit Of The Spirit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Answer me, O Yahweh, because your loyal love [is] good; according to your abundant mercies, turn to me,

For in this way God loved the world, so that he gave his one and only Son, in order that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but will have eternal life.

"A new commandment I give to you: that you love one another--just as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples--if you have love for one another."

And I made known to them your name, and will make [it] known, in order that the love [with] which you loved me may be in them, and I [may be] in them."

and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Love must be without hypocrisy. Abhor what [is] evil; be attached to what [is] good,

Love does not commit evil against a neighbor. Therefore love [is the] fulfillment of the law.

Love is patient, love is kind, love is not jealous, [it] does not boast, [it] does not become conceited, [it] does not behave dishonorably, [it] {is not selfish}, [it] does not become angry, [it] does not keep a record of wrongs, [it] does not rejoice at unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth,read more.
bears all [things], believes all [things], hopes all [things], endures all [things]. Love never ends. But if [there are] prophecies, they will pass away. If [there are] tongues, they will cease. If [there is] knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but whenever the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not let your freedom [become] an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for her;

We know that we have passed over from death to life because we love the brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.

By this we know that we reside in him and he in us: that he has given us of his Spirit.

And we have come to know and have believed the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God resides in him.
