And His eyes are as a flame of fire; and on His head are many diadems; having a name written which no one knows but Himself;

Thou madest him a little less than angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honor; and didst set him over the works of Thy hands; Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet." For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing unsubjected to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. But we behold Him Who was made a little lower than angels, Jesus, on account of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, that, by the grace of God, He might taste death for every one.

And, if also one contends in the games, he is not crowned, unless he contends lawfully.

Therefore, my brethren, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even ye, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

And every one who strives in the games exercises self restraint in all things; they, indeed, therefore, to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
