The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.
But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When you eat of it you will surely die. Jehovah God said: It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.
The people complained out loud to Jehovah about their troubles. Jehovah heard them and he became angry. Fire from Jehovah burned among them. It destroyed some people on the outskirts of the camp.
Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his rage (fury). He says:
([Psalm of David]) O God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been displeased and angry. Restore us, again.
Truth is missing. Those who turn away from evil become victims. Jehovah sees it, and what he saw displeased him because there is no justice.
And I am very angry with the nations that are at ease (secure). I was but a little angered and they caused my anger to grow into fury.'
But when Jesus saw it he was moved with indignation. He said: Allow the little children to come to me! Do not turn them away for they belong to the kingdom of God.
