It is as when a man away from home, having left his house, and having given authority to his servants, to each his work, commanded also the porter to watch.

To him the porter opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.

But Peter was standing at the door without. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spake to her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. The maiden door-keeper, therefore, says to Peter, Are you also one of this Man's disciples?" He says, "I am not."

Jesus, therefore, said to them again, "Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

"And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write these things," saith He Who is holy, He Who is true, He Who hath the key of David, He Who openeth, and no one shall shut; and shutteth, and no one opens: "I know your works. Behold, I have set before you a door opened, which no one can shut; because you have a little power, and kept My word, and did not deny My name.
