5 Bible Verses about dryness

And he spoke many things to them in parables, saying: Behold, the sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the way: and the birds came and ate them up. Others fell on stony places, where they had not much earth; and they immediately sprung up, because they had no depth of earth.read more.
But when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

And when a great multitude had assembled, and they were coming to him from every city, he spoke by a parable: The sower went forth to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and it was trodden down, and the birds of the air ate it up. And some fell upon the rock; and when it had sprung up, it withered, because it had no moisture.

and seeing a fig-tree on the road, he went to it, and found nothing on it but leaves; and he said to it: Let no fruit grow on you henceforth forever. And the fig-tree immediately withered. And when the disciples saw it, they were astonished, and said: How soon has the fig-tree withered!

And in the morning, as they were passing by, they saw the fig-tree withered from the roots. And Peter, calling his words to mind, said to him: Rabbi, see! the fig-tree which thou didst curse has withered.
