And I will make your tongue cling to the roof of your mouth, so that you shall be mute and unable to reprove them, for they are a rebellious house. But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD.'He who will hear, let him hear; and he who will refuse to hear, let him refuse, for they are a rebellious house.

And someone from the crowd answered him, "Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute.

And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."

Now he was casting out a demon that was mute. When the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke, and the people marveled.

And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, "Never was anything like this seen in Israel."

Then a demon-oppressed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and he healed him, so that the man spoke and saw.

so that the crowd wondered, when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly.

And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."

then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;

On that day your mouth will be opened to the fugitive, and you shall speak and be no longer mute. So you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the LORD."

Now the hand of the LORD had been upon me the evening before the fugitive came; and he had opened my mouth by the time the man came to me in the morning, so my mouth was opened, and I was no longer mute.

Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.

but was rebuked for his own transgression; a speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet's madness.
