In the same way then at this present time also there is a remnant, according to the election of grace. And if it is by grace, it is no longer on account of works; otherwise grace ceaseth to be grace; but if it is of works, there is then no grace; otherwise work ceaseth to be work. How is it then?

But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, that God chose you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth;

Yet rejoice not in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names have been written in heaven.
