After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now finished, in order that the Scripture might be accomplished, saith, I thirst.
For the Son of man is to come in the glory of his Father, with his angels; and then will he render to every one according to his works.
And then will appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and will see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send forth his angels with a great trumpet, and they will gather his chosen from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
And then will they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then will he send forth the angels, and will gather the chosen ones from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
And when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then will he sit on the throne of his glory,
For whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will also the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
For whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed, when be cometh in his glory, and that of his Father, and of the holy angels.
Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things, and enter into his glory?
