who shall be punished with everlasting destruction, by the presence of the Lord and by his glorious power:

as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in like manner with them committing lewdness, and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of perpetual fire.

If then thy hand or thy foot cause thee to offend, cut them off and cast them from thee; it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire:

Let their eyes be darkened that they may not see, and always bow down their back.

and of faith in God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and laying on of hands, and of the resurrection from the dead, and of eternal judgement: (tho' we will do this also, if God permit:)

and the angels that kept not their primitive state, but left their proper abode, hath He reserved in everlasting chains, under darkness, to the judgement of the great day:

wandering stars, for whom blackness of darkness is reserved for ever.

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth for ever and ever: and they have no rest, day and night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

(and again they said, Alleluia:) and her smoke ascendeth for ever and ever.

And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
