But as for you, hearken ye not to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon.

Ye shall not eat anything with the blood. Neither shall ye use enchantments, nor practice augury.

And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thy hand, and thou shall have no [more] soothsayers.

When thou have come into the land, which LORD thy God gives thee, thou shall not learn to do according to the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found with thee anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, a psychic, he who practices augury, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a medium, or a spiritist, or a necromancer.read more.
For whoever does these things is an abomination to LORD. And because of these abominations LORD thy God drives them out from before thee. Thou shall be perfect with LORD thy God.

And when they shall say to you, Seek for those who have familiar spirits and for the wizards, who chirp and who mutter, should not a people seek for their God? On behalf of the living [seek] to the dead?
