And, they having departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appears to Joseph in a dream, saying, "Having risen, take the Child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be there till I speak to you; for Herod is about to seek the Child to destroy Him."

"When, therefore, ye see the abomination of the desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let him that reads understand), then let those in Judaea flee into the mountains; let him who is on the house-top not go down to take away the things out of his house;read more.
and let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment. But woe to the women with child, and to those giving suck, in those days! And pray, that your flight be not in winter, nor on a sabbath;

And Saul was approving of his death. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the assembly which was in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the countries of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
