What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my Helper, I will not be afraid; what shall man do to me?"

Because you kept the word of My patience. I also will keep you from the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole inhabited earth, to try those who dwell upon the earth.

We know that every one who has been begotten of God sins not; but he who was begotten of God keeps himself, and the evil one touches him not.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or perils or sword? As it has been written, "For Thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."
