2 Bible Verses about Goal Setting

For which one of you who wants to build a [lookout] tower will not first sit down and calculate its cost, to see whether he has enough [money and materiel] to complete it? Instead, you should be saying, "If it is what the Lord wants, we will live and do this or that." But, as it is, you people are boasting in your arrogance [and] all such boasting is evil.
