And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
And he said, It is not the voice of those who shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of those who cry for being overcome, but the noise of those who sing do I hear.

But they were relentless with loud voices demanding him to be crucified. And their voices and those of the chief priests prevailed.
But they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed it to be a ghost, and cried out.

And when the ark of the covenant of LORD came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again. And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What is the meaning of the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of LORD came into the camp.
So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom LORD has chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, Live, O king!
And having answered, he said to them, I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out.
