Show me your ways, LORD. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.

Moses said to the LORD, "Behold, you tell me, 'Bring up this people:' and you haven't let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, 'I know you by name, and you have also found favor in my sight.' Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you, so that I may find favor in your sight: and consider that this nation is your people." He said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."read more.
He said to him, "If your presence doesn't go with me, do not carry us up from here. For how would people know that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Isn't it in that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your people, from all the people who are on the surface of the earth?"

"Teach me, and I will hold my peace. Cause me to understand wherein I have erred.

Lead me, LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your way straight before my face.

Teach me your way, LORD. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.

For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name's sake lead me and guide me.

Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer. From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Teach me your way, LORD. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name.

Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.

Oh, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, To your tents.

I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Nevertheless, I am continually with you. You have held my right hand. You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Direct me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in them.

The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

"When the sky is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you afflict them: then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.

He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.

Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

He went forward a little, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire."

saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."

If the LORD delights in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it to us; a land which flows with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against the LORD, neither fear the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defense is removed from over them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them."

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Do not be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.

When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, do not be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say."

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak on his own; but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you things that are coming.

While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Behold, three men seek you. But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them."

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray. As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you do not need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you remain in him.

NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.

The LORD's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.

When they tell you, "Consult with the spirits of the dead and familiar spirits who chirp and who mutter. Shouldn't a people consult with their gods, by consulting the dead on behalf of the living?" Turn to the law and to the testimony. If they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.

We have the more sure word of prophecy; and you do well that you heed it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the morning star arises in your hearts:

And Saul prevailed over the people, and they cast lots between him and Jonathan his son. And Jonathan was selected.

The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.

They all said to each other, "Come, let us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is on us." So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Jonah.

They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matthias, and he was numbered with the Eleven apostles.
