8 Bible Verses about Hope, Of The Wicked

“If I have put my confidence in gold,
And called fine gold my trust,

Then they will be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and Egypt their boast. So the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day, ‘Behold, such is our hope, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and we, how shall we escape?’”

Ashkelon will see it and be afraid.

The hope of the righteous is gladness,
But the expectation of the wicked perishes.

“For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off,
When God requires his life?

remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
