But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind called Euroclydon.

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines and pestilences, and there shall be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea roaring and tossing:

These are wells without water, clouds driven by a tempest, to whom the blackness of darkness is reserved for ever.
