And I, brethren, could not speak to you, as to spiritual, but as to carnal??s to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk, and not solid food; for not yet were ye able to bear it; nay, nor even now are ye able; for ye are yet carnal; for whereas there is among you jealousy and strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk as men?

Concerning Whom we have much to say and difficult to explain, since ye have become dull of hearing. For even when, on account of the time, ye ought to be teachers, ye again have need that some one teach you the first elements of the oracles of God, and have become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food; for every one who partakes of milk is inexperienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe;

When I was a child, I was wont to talk as a child, to think as a child, to reason as a child; since I have become a man, I have done away with the things of the child; for now we see through a mirror, obscurely; but then, face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall fully know, even as I also was fully known.

Brethren, do not be children in mind; yet in evil be babes, but in mind be full-grown.
