The Pharisee noticed that He did not first wash before lunch, and was surprised.

While He was at table in the house many tax-collectors and notorious sinners came in and took their seats at table with Jesus and His disciples.

Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the disciples dared to ask Him, "Who are you?" because they knew it was the Lord.

So they gave a dinner there in honor of Jesus, and Martha was waiting on them, but Lazarus was one of the guests with Jesus.

but they earnestly urged Him, and said, "Stop and stay with us, for it is getting toward evening and the day is nearly spent." So He went in to stay with them. And after He had taken His place at table with them, He took the loaf and blessed it and broke it in pieces and handed it to them. Then their eyes were instantly opened and they recognized Him, and at once He vanished from them.

and He took it and ate it before their eyes.
