And He said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou desirest to enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto Him, Which? And Jesus answered, Thou shalt do no murther, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self.

But there rose up, said they, some of the sect of the pharisees that believed, saying, that it was necessary to circumcise them, and enjoin them to keep the law of Moses.

and join in their expences, that they may shave their head: and that all may know, that there is nothing in what they have heard of thee; but thou thyself walkest according to the law.

and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God.

but He replied, Yea rather happy are they, that hear the word of God and keep it.

that thou keep this commandment, unspotted and blameless, till the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ;

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
