21 Bible Verses about Knowing God's Character

Listen to him and give him his desire. Let all the peoples of the earth know about your name. Let them worship you as your people Israel, and that they may see that this house which I have built is truly named by your name.

Because you love me, I will rescue you. I will protect you because you know my name.

If you do not, he will send his worst plagues to strike you, your officials, and everyone else in your country. Then you will find out that no one can oppose Jehovah.

We know that God does not listen to sinners. If any man respects God and does his will, God listens to him.

All things have been delivered to me from my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father. And no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.

By this we know love, because he (Jesus) gave his life for us. We ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

We know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love! He who continues with love lives with God and God lives with him.

Now I know that Jehovah is greater than all the other gods. It was proven when they treated the people with contempt.

I know that you can do all things and no plan of yours can be thwarted.

That all the people of the earth might know the hand of Jehovah is mighty: that you might reverence Jehovah your God forever.

But against any of the sons of Israel a dog will not even bark, whether against man or beast. This is so you may understand how Jehovah makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.

The king replied: Do it tomorrow! As you wish: Moses agreed. Then everyone will discover that there is no god like Jehovah!
